Justyce Royal Design & Consulting (JRDC) is a multidisciplinary design and consulting firm providing architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and permitting support for residential and commercial projects throughout Florida. We work with homeowners, contractors, developers, property owners, and other professionals to transform project concepts and existing conditions into coordinated, buildable construction documents. From initial design and planning through engineering coordination and permitting, our goal is simple: Create clear, practical solutions that help move projects from concept to construction.

Floor plans, elevations, sections, additions, renovations, new construction, existing-condition documentation, and permit-ready construction drawings.
Structural Design & Coordination
Structural layouts, framing and foundation details, calculations, wind-related requirements, structural modifications, and coordination with licensed professional engineers when required.
MEP Design
Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design and coordination for residential and commercial projects.
Permitting
Permit package preparation, submittal coordination, plan-review corrections, revisions, and support throughout the permitting process.

Construction projects often require multiple disciplines working together. When those disciplines aren't properly coordinated, the result can be conflicting plans, permit comments, delays, and costly field questions.
JRDC approaches each project as a complete system.
We coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP requirements so the drawings work together and provide contractors with the information needed to understand what is being designed and how it is intended to be constructed.
When professional engineering certification is required, JRDC coordinates review by appropriately licensed professionals.

01 — Understand
We begin by understanding the project, existing conditions, client objectives, jurisdiction, and permitting requirements.
02 — Design
Our team develops the applicable architectural, structural, and MEP documents while coordinating the different disciplines.
03 — Review & Coordinate
Plans are reviewed for completeness, coordination, constructability, and applicable project requirements. Licensed professionals are coordinated when required by the project scope.
04 — Permit
JRDC prepares the applicable permit documentation and assists with plan-review comments, revisions, and resubmittals.
05 — Support
Our involvement doesn't have to end when the drawings are completed. JRDC can provide continued design and permitting support as the project progresses.

Meet the Engineer and Owner
Donathan Sweat is the Founder of Justyce Royal. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology from Sullivan University in 2014. He also attended Spencerian College, where he earned multiple degrees in Architecture Drafting and Design, Mechanical Drafting and Engineering, and Civil Drafting and Engineering. As part of his academic achievements, he has received many certifications which include: AutoCAD, Solid works, EnteliViz HTML5, OSHA 10, IOT, Delta Building Automation, and several others.
Mr. Sweat began his career as a Combat Engineer in the United States Army. After serving honorably, he went on to pursue freelancing, and performed various projects which include: programming, engineering, and graphic design. He also worked as a Senior Tool Design Engineer for a major manufacturing company servicing several fortune 500 companies. He has prior experience in electrical engineering, field work for various fields, hvac design, and power distribution as well as construction consultations and scheduling.
Mr. Sweat offers a unique and versatile skillset. In addition to his engineering expertise, he is an accomplished graphic artist and computer programmer. In merging the two worlds, he has been able to bring a modern day approach to the technical and visual aesthetics of his designs which not only contributes to cost efficient manufacturing, but also enhances product marketability.
Mr. Sweat is originally from Richmond, KY and currently resides in the Tampa Bay area. He is an avid gamer, anime fanatic, and technology enthusiast. He is happily married to his beautiful wife, Shiela Sweat, and they have a beautifully blended family raising five (5) children. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, drawing, and poetry. Those who know him best describe him as kind, compassionate, and empathic to his clients and others. He understands everyone has a dream and believes that dreams are reality's introduction to the world. He takes pride in brining his client's dreams to life.
